1. How do I sign up for a Recreation activity or event?

Individuals can sign up for any recreation activity at Shepherd Stadium, the Senior Center, Senior Transportation, or at the online registration website.

2. Do I need to fill out any paperwork for facility or park pavilion reservations?

Yes. It is required that a signed contract is on file for every date that you have reserved for the community building and park pavilions.

3. What are the hours of operation for the parks?

The hours of operation for the parks are as follows:
7:00 am to 9:00 pm (April 1 - October 31)
7:00 am to 5:00 pm (November 1 - March 31)

4. Do I have to be a resident to rent the Community Building?

Yes, only residents of Colonial Heights are able to rent the Community Building.

5. Do I have to be a resident to rent a pavilion?

No, non-residents are able to rent pavilions for a $50.00 rental fee.

6. How much does it cost to rent a pavilion?

7. Can I have alcoholic beverages on the premises of a Recreation and Parks rental facility?

No. Alcohol is not permitted at any Recreation & Parks rental facility.
