The Colonial Heights Public Library will be offering its 2018 Winter/Spring Storytime sessions beginning on January 23 and ending on May 9. Family Storytime takes place each Tuesday and Wednesday at 11 a.m. and includes stories, music, lots of movement, and a craft or STEM activity.

Babies & Books story time for ages 6-24 months old will take place on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:15 a.m. Parents/caregivers interact one-on-one with their child, reading board books and acting out songs and finger plays, as the presenter leads the activities.

Story hours are a wonderful way for children to gain important pre-reading skills, learn to socialize with other children, and to begin a lifelong love of books and reading.
