The Colonial Heights Commonwealth Attorney's Office in cooperation with Colonial Heights Public Schools and the City of Colonial Heights will be hosting a Regional Heroin and Opiate Summit on November 30th at 6:30 p.m. in the Colonial Heights High School Auditorium.

In the first six months of 2016, at least 216 Virginians have died from fatal prescription opioid overdose, 103 from a heroin overdose and 136 from fentanyl overdose.
