NATIONAL NIGHT OUT EVENT

National Night Out is an exciting opportunity that brings together law enforcement, local government, community leaders, faith-based organizations, civic groups, neighborhoods and citizens like YOU!   The purpose of bringing these community partners together is to talk about concerns in your neighborhood in a fun and friendly way. 

During our National Night Out  event, there will be cook-outs and block parties held at different locations all over the city!  (Click HERE for current list of locations)

At each location, members of the Colonial Heights Police Department will visit with the community. While we will be discussing issues that are important to you, this is also a great opportunity to meet the many new faces that we have in our agency. This is also an opportunity for those who have had an interest in a career in law enforcement to meet some of our newest officers and discuss their experience, from recruitment, to instruction, and finally to becoming an officer.

Car Seat Safety Checks & Drug Take Back Opportunity

We will be offering car seat safety checks by some of our certified technicians/ officers at Police Headquarters.

You are also allowed to bring any unused/ expired medication. As always, we will not be accepting any sharps/syringes.
