Friendly Code Enforcement Reminder: Grass Cutting
COLONIAL HEIGHTS
PLANNING DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION
FRIENDLY CODE ENFORCEMENT REMINDER:
Grass Cutting Season Starts APRIL 1ST!
Please Note:
City Code does not allow tall grass, weeds or other foreign growth over 12 inches in height;
Over 12 inches in height, the property owner is subject to a notice of violation with 10 days to comply;
Failure to comply will result in City contractors cutting the grass and a minimum charge of $160.00; and
Per City Code, only one notice per grass season will be sent.
