Shoe Fund

 
The Youth Advisory Council administers a “Shoe Fund” for Colonial Heights youth in need. Shoe vouchers are issued after a referral is received from the child’s teacher, guidance counselor, or principal. Vouchers are provided to parents or guardians to purchase shoes from JCPenney or Shoe Carnival in Colonial Heights. The bill is sent to the Office on Youth for payment of the shoes!

The Shoe Fund program is funded by generous donations from civic organizations and private citizens.
