  • Senior Transportation operates 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except on City Holidays.

  • Yes, a companion must accompany an individual in a wheelchair for our insurance purposes.

  • An individual must be 60 years of age or older and a resident of Colonial Heights to qualify for senior transportation services.

  • The transportation department operates on the same schedule that the City of Colonial Heights Public School Bus transportation uses. Therefore, if the school buses do not operate, we do not operate either.

  • All appointments for Senior Transportation must be made at least 24 hours in advance, unless it is a medical emergency.

  • A donation of $1.00 is strongly suggested per ride.

  • The Senior Center hours of operation are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, except City Holidays.
