Sealed bids, subject to the plans, drawings, and specifications, will be received in the City of Colonial Heights VA Finance/Purchasing Department, 201 James Avenue - 2nd Floor, Colonial Heights, VA, until but no later than 2:00 PM EDT March 11 2021, for the North Elementary School Sidewalks Project, Phase I.
This project consists of pedestrian improvements to Ross and Dale Avenue in the City of Colonial Heights, Virginia. The limits of construction, which includes all side street connections, are:
- Ross Avenue from Eastman Avenue to Dale Avenue
- Dale Avenue from Ross Avenue to Ellerslie Avenue
The SRTS North Elementary Phase 1 project consists of roadway and pedestrian improvements including, but not limited to, modified travel lanes, utility relocations, storm drain system, sidewalks and curb ramps with detectable warning surfaces.
Once the notice to proceed has been given by the City, all work on this project must be completed in 90 calendar days.
The DBE Goal for this project is 5%.
Note: There are many VDOT forms that are associated with this project. Please note that some of these forms must be turned in with your bid. Please look at all VDOT forms and note the date the form is due.
