What are the requirements to qualify for senior transportation services?
An individual must be 60 years of age or older and a resident of Colonial Heights to qualify for senior transportation services.

What are the hours of operation for Senior Transportation?
Senior Transportation operates 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, except on City Holidays.

Do individuals who are in wheelchairs need a companion in order to utilize transportation services?
Yes, a companion must accompany an individual in a wheelchair for our insurance purposes.

What are the requirements to qualify for senior transportation services?
An individual must be 60 years of age or older and a resident of Colonial Heights to qualify for senior transportation services.

If there is inclement weather, do you still operate Senior Transportation?
The transportation department operates on the same schedule that the City of Colonial Heights Public School Bus transportation uses. Therefore, if the school buses do not operate, we do not operate either.
5.
Do I need to make an appointment in advance for Senior Transportation?
All appointments for Senior Transportation must be made at least 24 hours in advance, unless it is a medical emergency.
6.
Is there a fee to use Senior Transportation services?
A donation of $1.00 is strongly suggested per ride.
7.
What are the hours for the Senior Center?
The Senior Center hours of operation are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, except City Holidays.
