The Community Center encompasses the Teen Center, Community Room, and Senior Center. The Community Room is open to Colonial Heights residents only for reservations for club meetings, senior citizen & teen activities, birthday parties, baby showers, wedding receptions, anniversaries, and candidate forums. The Community Room is available for rent to Colonial Heights residents ONLY for a fee of $50.00 per day. Reservations must be made in person at the Recreation Department, with proof of residency(ex. valid id, city water bill).

Available rental times:  Monday - Friday, 4:30 pm - 11:00 pm
                                     Saturday - Sunday, 8:00 am - 11:00 pm

The Community Room has a maximum occupancy of 96 people, has a stage, kitchen, and a piano.  A rental contract must be on file and the rental fee must be when making your reservation. Dates cannot be held without payment.

Rental keys must be picked up by 5:00 pm the day of the reservation.  Weekend and holiday rental keys must be picked up by 5:00 pm on the prior business day. Keys are to be returned the next business day or can be put in the night time drop box (to the right of the main entrance of the Community Building). Reservation requests begin the first business day of December for the following year.
