BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Notice is hereby given to all persons affected or interested that on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at 4:00 p.m., in Council Chambers of City Hall, 201 James Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia, the Board of Zoning Appeals shall hold a public hearing to accept comments on and consider the following request:
A request by Mr. Stephen Vaughn for a variance of 2,272.8 square feet of the provision of Subsection A of Section 286-302.06 – Site Development regulations – RM Residential Medium District of Chapter 286 – Zoning of the Colonial Heights City Code to allow a minimum lot area of 5,227.2 square feet for the reconstruction and expansion of a principal structure, which is less than the section’s minimum required area of 7,500 square feet. Such a variance shall be for 306 Eastman Avenue, parcel identification number 05000100026, with a legal description of Dunlop Park Subdivision, Lots 25 and 26.
A copy of the variance application is on file for public examination during regular business hours in the Department of Planning and Community Development, located at City Hall, 201 James Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia or by calling (804) 520-9297. All persons affected or interested are invited to be present at the public hearing of the Board of Zoning Appeals to be held at the time and place stated above, when an opportunity will be given for them to be heard.
