The Colonial Heights Public Library has announced their first Summer Learning Programs for 2018. Limited spots are available for the following programs, register online at links provided.
The American Red Cross program brings emergency preparedness to kids between the ages of 8-11. 
- Learn about home fire safety and thunderstorm and lightning preparedness.
- Practice resilience coping skills
- Decorate and bring home a Disney pillowcase to help you practice and share what you learn.
- Receive a preparedness workbook to extend your learning and share your knowledgewith your family.
This program is for youth ages 8-11. Registration required.
Healthy eating was never this much fun! 45 minute sessions that rotate students to 3 different cooking stations as they learn how to make a tasty and nutritious breakfast: pancakes, fruit compote, and sparkling orange water. Edible Education’s trained chefs provide step-by-step, age appropriate, hands-on instruction for your kids, which makes learning to cook real food fun for everyone!

- Each session has a maximum of 30 participants
- A wait list will be available if the session is full
- Fill out one registration form for EACH participant
- Please arrive at least five minutes before your session begins
- Please fill out and bring the Permission and Allergy Form to the Edible Education Cooking Program.
