Training that could save your life and the lives of your family and neighbors will be offered beginning Monday, January 15, 2018, for the Colonial Heights Emergency Response Team, (CERT). This training provides citizens with the basic emergency response skills that are essential in the critical time after a disaster and before emergency responders arrive on scene. Instructors provide hands-on training in critical areas such as disaster preparedness, fire safety and suppression, CPR and First Aid, search and rescue techniques, emergency communications and disaster psychology. Graduates earn a certificate and CERT emergency gear. Participants must be 18 years of age.

February 5 - Monday (6:30-9:30) Search & Rescue, & Triage
February 10 - Saturday (9-4:00) Disaster Psychology & Exercise, Graduation
