The 64th Annual Christmas Parade – a longtime Colonial Heights tradition - will take place Tuesday, December 6, 2016 on the Boulevard, beginning at 7:00 pm.

Originated in 1953 by the Colonial Heights Optimist Club, the nighttime parade is a unique event that draws people from all over the Tri-Cities area. Since 1961, the parade has been organized by the Colonial Heights Jaycees - making the parade a true community event. Beginning in 2014, the City of Colonial Heights assumed management of the Annual Christmas Parade. The 2016 parade theme is “Peace on Earth”.

Applications are now being accepted to participate in the 2016 City of Colonial Heights Christmas Parade. The deadline to submit an application is Friday, November 4, 2016.
