NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VIRGINIA
BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Notice is hereby given to all persons affected or interested that on Wednesday, April 25th, 2018, at 4:00 p.m., in Council Chambers of City Hall, 201 James Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia, the Board of Zoning Appeals shall hold a public hearing to accept comments on and consider the following request:


A request by Joseph Vergara for a variance of 23 feet to the provisions of Subsection A of Section 286-300.06 – Site development regulations – RL Low Density Residential District of Chapter 286 – Zoning of the Colonial Heights City Code to allow for a minimum lot frontage of 52 feet for a principal structure, which is less than the section’s minimum required lot frontage of 75 feet. Such a variance shall be for parcel identification number 4900010B004, which is part of the Old Oaks Subdivision, Block B, Lot 4, fronting Lyons Avenue, and is zoned RL Low Density Residential District.

A copy of the variance application is on file for public examination during regular business hours in the Department of Planning and Community Development, located at City Hall, 201 James Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia or by calling (804) 520-9297.  All persons affected or interested are invited to be present at the public hearing of the Board of Zoning Appeals to be held at the time and place stated above, when an opportunity will be given for them to be heard.
