Reading of Manner of Addressing Council.

ANY MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC addressing the Council shall approach the lectern, give his name and address in an audible tone of voice for the record, AND ADDRESS THE COUNCIL AS A BODY RATHER THAN SPEAK TO ANY MEMBER. Unless further time is granted by the Council, ANY MEMBER OF THE PUBLIC shall address the Council for a maximum of five (5) minutes, regardless of the number of issues he desires to discuss. PROVIDED however, that the main proponent of any application, petition, or plan that is the subject of a public hearing shall be allowed to address the Council initially for a maximum of ten (10) minutes and later in rebuttal for a maximum of three (3) minutes.

AN ORDINANCE NO. 21-FIN-1

(Second Reading)  To amend the General Fund Budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020 and ending June 30, 2021, by appropriating $22,358 consisting of 1) $1,998 in grant funds for the Fire & EMS Department for the purchase of a tablet; 2) $5,697 in unassigned fund balance and $4,303 in current year E-Citation revenue for the purchase of equipment for mobile printers; 3) $7,360 in donations to the Sheriff’s Office; 4) $2,500 in grant funds from Wal-Mart for the Office on Youth to provide services for the English as a Second Language community; and 5) $500 in donations in memory of Barbara Gehler for the purchase of artwork for display at the Library.

AN ORDINANCE NO. 21-FIN-2

(First Reading) To amend the General Fund Budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020 and ending June 30, 2021, by appropriating $76,000 in grant funds for the regional swift water rescue team.
To amend the Recreation Fund Budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020 and ending June 30, 2021, by appropriating $12,600 of committed fund balance for the City’s share of a van purchase in partnership with the Crater District Area on Aging.
B.

A RESOLUTION NO 21-8

Authorizing the City Manager to enter into the “Memorandum of Understanding, Shepherd Stadium Field Naming Rights” with Nutrien AG Solutions, Inc.
