Dog & Cat Tags
If your dog or cat is more than 4 months old, it must be vaccinated against rabies and be licensed with the City. This is required by Virginia Law and the Code of the City of Colonial Heights. Lifetime dog and cat tags are $25.00 or $10.00 for spayed or neutered dogs and cats.
Kennel Tags
Kennel tags are $50.00 for 10 or less animals and $100.00 for 11 or more animals.
After Due Date
Dog and cat tags purchased after the due date (February 1) will be assessed a 25% late fee.
Note:
- Proof of rabies and spayed or neutered animals must be presented at the time of purchase.
- If you have a trained service dog, please contact Billling and Collections for tag issuance.
